Hello, My name is Matthew McBee. I'm the founder and president of McBee Insurance.com Agency, INC. I have over 15 years experience in the insurance industry and enjoy the relationships I establish with each of my clients. I have worked both sides of the industry. As both a underwriter with The Hartford and an Independent Insurance Agent, as I am today! I love working hard for my clients and really enjoy helping them find the best coverages at the lowest premium possible.
I have been around insurance my whole life. My father opened his first agency in 1973. I worked in his office during the summer and after school during most of my high school years. I obtained my property & casualty license in 1992 and at the time was one of the youngest agents in the state.. In 1995, I started my own agency in Muncie, IN. By 1997, I had over 2,500 clients and represented 35 different insurance companies in the state. At the time, our agency was one of the largest writers of auto insurance in my area.
In 1998, My wife accepted a job offer in Concord, NC. So we made a major choice in our lives. We decided to move to North Carolina. As luck would have it I was able to sell my agency in Indiana and we moved to Concord. Traci and I love the Carolinas and both feel that Concord is a great place to rasie our children.
On Sept 1999. McBee Insurance.com agency opened its door in North Carolina. It is my goal to have the same success in North Carolina that I had in Indiana.
